Who this is written for
Accounts and purchases on The Athlete Vault are for adults. A parent, guardian, or another adult the family has authorized creates the account, creates the Vault, and decides what goes into it.
Youth athletes
A Vault is usually about a child. The adult who owns the account may upload a youth athlete's name, photos, videos, team and school details, jersey number, milestones, statistics, and family memories.
Children under 13 may not create their own account and may not submit information to us directly. Everything about a youth athlete reaches us through the adult account owner or an adult they have invited.
By uploading content, the adult represents that they have the authority and permission to upload it and to share it, including permission for any other people who appear in a photo or video.
What we collect
Account and order information: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and the details of what you asked us to build. Vault content: the photos, videos, names, dates, notes, and other memories you choose to add. Basic technical data: device, browser, and pages visited, so the site keeps working.
How we use it
To store and display your Vault to the people you allow, to build and ship what you order, to answer you, and, only if you opt in, to send occasional updates. We do not sell your data and we do not use a youth athlete's photos in marketing without separate written permission from the account owner.
Privacy and sharing
Vaults are private by default. Nothing is visible to the public until the owner marks it public. A public share link, including a link reached by scanning a Vault Card, shows only the content the owner has intentionally marked public, and never account details, order records, addresses, or private family notes.
Family Circle access is invitation only. Nobody can request, follow, or join a Vault on their own. The owner can change what is public, remove a member, or turn sharing off entirely, and the change takes effect on the next page load.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the site and deliver your order: hosting, database, email delivery, and shipping. We choose established providers and share only what they need to do their part. We do not share Vault content with advertisers.
Access, correction, and deletion
The account owner can edit or delete Vault content at any time from inside the Vault. You can also email us to request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete an athlete's Vault and its contents. Email hello@myathletevault.com from the address on the account and a person will read it and reply. We may keep order records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.

This policy is written in plain language to describe honestly how the product actually works today. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by counsel. We intend to have it reviewed by a qualified attorney, and we make no claim of compliance with any particular privacy law.
